Ken Nabal

Ken Nabal is the President of Kingston & Associates Marketing LLC. In his role, Ken is responsible for managing and increasing Kingston’s network of key accounts and products. Kingston is undergoing an aggressive push to develop and grow its distribution network while vertically integrating its supporting businesses.

Ken has accrued twenty-five plus years of experience in the produce industry and has worked in many facets of the business including merchandising, buying, sales and logistics. Before joining Kingston & Associates Marketing LLC, Nabal held positions with companies such as Frontera Produce, Southern Specialties, Magellan Farms, Central American Produce, Albertsons, Wal-Mart Stores, Acme Markets and American Stores. Ken also gives his time to other fresh produce industry organizations, serving on the United Fresh North American Transportation Working Group and the National Mango Board.

Ken attended college for two years at West Chester State College in Pennsylvania.

He and his wife, Susan, and their two children, Resa and Andrew, live in Delray Beach, FL.


Mike Kingston

Mike Kingston is the Director of Public Relations for Kingston & Associates Marketing LLC and on the Board of Governors for the Kingston Companies. He has been an important part of the company since its founding by Mike's brother David O. Kingston in 1977. The Kingston Companies is a private, family-owned business.

A veteran of the produce industry, Mike has worked in all areas of the business, including operations, procurement, transportation, and sales. He was named Vice President of Sales & Marketing in 1990, and became President of Kingston & Associates in 1993. In addition to executive leadership at Kingston, Mike participates in numerous industry initiatives, and was the Director of the Produce Marketing Association Foodservice Division from 1988 to 1991. Mike attended the Executive Marketing Management program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Mike lives in Idaho Falls, ID. Mike, a true outdoorsman, enjoys hunting and fishing, and is an avid golfer.


Jody Boline

Jody Boline is the Sales Manager for Kingston & Associates Marketing LLC. He has been a part of the Kingston organization since 1987.

Jody manages the operating departments of KAM, including sales, procurement, transportation, customer service, and food safety. He also works on business development and national accounts programs.

Prior to Kingston, he worked for Apple Truck Lines and Austin Trucking in logistics. He graduated from Dakota State University in Madison, South Dakota.

Jody is an accomplished triathlete and an avid runner. He also enjoys golf, skiing, swimming, and camping. He has two children, Caddie and Avery.


David Peterson

David Peterson has worked with Kingston Companies as an advisor since 2005. His focus is on the Company's operations in the sales and marketing of organically farmed fish. In addition, David advises the Companies on servicing the fresh produce retail and foodservice markets.

David has an extensive career in commercial agribusiness and produce. His most recent executive position was as Senior Vice President, Business Development, for SunWorld International. His experience also includes tenure as Vice President of Agriculture Operations for Cadiz, Inc., Chief Operating Officer of Fisher Procurement, Inc., and manager of all produce purchasing activities for Sysco Corporation.

David and his wife Angie live in Salinas, CA, and have three adult children. His hobbies include playing golf and riding Harley-Davidson motorcycles.


Richard Connelly

Richard Connelly joined the Kinston family in 1996. He leads our procurement office in Monterey, California. Richard's focus is on everything except potatoes, including our onion, lettuce, pineapple, broccoli, beans, romaine, spinach, and spring mix programs. Richard travels the world working with onion growers and shippers to make the Kingston onion program the best in the industry. He has a wealth of experience with over 28 years in the produce industry, starting in 1980 at the L.A. terminal market. He then started his own produce company in 1987, and after selling it, worked with Sysco and Produce America prior to joining Kingston.

Richard lives in Carmel, California with his sons Matthew and Nicholas. Richard is devoted to golf and enjoys walking his dog, Rico, on the beach. Despite living in California, his Boston roots are still strong, and he remains a loyal fan of the Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins and Patriots. He enjoys working in the produce industry because of its close association to the land and honest, hard-working people.
